Welcome to the website of the Milton Animal League!
The Milton Animal League is a group of volunteers dedicated to the rescue, care, and adoption of animals in need. Since 1978, this small group has helped run the Milton Animal Shelter. The shelter is run by a philosophy of optimism! Every animal that comes through our doors receives the best care possible. They are not only housed and fed but their emotional and physical needs are met to the best of our ability. Every animal that is placed up for adoption has been fully vetted which includes a physical exam, age appropriate vaccines, blood tests and spay/neuter. If an animal needs more extensive medical work to become healthy and happy, they will receive it. All adoptable animals are safe with us until they find their permanent homes with a new family.
The Milton Animal Shelter is a 501 C3 non-profit charity organization and as such we receive NO state or federal funding. We rely solely on adoption, membership fees and donations from generous, caring individuals.
